No one, as an independent artist, has managed to accomplish the things Mac Miller has in such a short period of time. Mac Miller won many fans over, as he was a breath of fresh air, rapping over old school-themed beats. Despite a major bidding war, Mac Miller remained independent to release Blue Slide Park.

Mac Miller returned to releasing mixtapes after his album, however, releasing two mixtapes in 2012 so far. One popular 2012 mixtape track from Mac Miller was “PlaneCarBoat,” which features ScHoolboy Q. The song has become another viral sensation for Mac Miller, who continues to defy the odds.

Recently, Life + Times sat down with Mac Miller for their “Decoded” series. Mac Miller would speak on his “PlaneCarBoat” single. The upcoming Pink Slime EP, which Mac Miller worked with Pharrell on, will soon be released.
