Never in American history has there been this type of revolt against the government. Admittedly, the 2016 election season was unusual, to say the least. That was before Donald Trump won the presidency, which followed his career in real estate and reality television.
Donald Trump won the electoral college, but lost the popular vote by about 2 million votes. Because of this, Trump faced protests around the country, which are still taking place. Since 2015, Uber has become a popular driving service, but now they are under fire.
This afternoon, it was revealed that Uber’s CEO is a Trump supporter, which has caused more backlash. People have taken to Twitter in droves with the #deleteuber hashtag. Meanwhile, Lyft, their primary competitor has donated to the ALCU in response to the #MuslimBan and are inviting people to join their service.
