Before LeBron James originally left the Cleveland Cavaliers, when he signed with the Miami Heat, word was Delonte West, his teammate, had an affair with his mother. Once LeBron left, the Cavs immediately became the NBA’s worst team. West was one of their best players.
A serviceable player, Delonte West ended up with the Boston Celtics, where he spent a few seasons. But, as LeBron’s Heat had their run, followed by the Warriors’ run, Delonte West faded from the spotlight. It was safe to say most forgot about Delonte West, until today.
This afternoon, Delonte West returned to the spotlight, in the worst way, possible. From the looks of things, West was arrested for assaulting a man, and he’s clearly cracked out, saying he was President Trump. On Twitter, NBA fans are demanding the league get him help, some asking LeBron to step in.
