Coming into the 2018 NBA Playoffs, the Toronto Raptors are determined to prove that the past is really the past. In the past, the Raptors would always do good, but come up short. This year, they came out of nowhere, taking the top spot, in the East.

However, when they drew the Washington Wizards, in the 2018 playoffs, there were questions of it Toronto could hang. After two games, in Toronto, it’s clear this isn’t 2015, at least. Tonight’s game even saw DeMar DeRozan drop 37 points, a franchise playoff record.

DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry spoke to the press, after their big win, against Washington. They first talked about the Wizards’ late-game comeback, as DeRozan gave them credit for their efforts. Meanwhile, when Kyle Lowry finally spoke, he gave DeRozan his props for setting a franchise record, calling him “MVP caliber.”
