DeMar DeRozan dismisses ESPN’s ranking of the Toronto Raptors, where they have them as the sixth seed at 44.3 wins in 2018 #NBAonESPN [PHOTO]

Last year, the Toronto Raptors took a step back, after being two wins short of the NBA Finals. The Raptors still managed to win 51 games and won their division. Unfortunately, the Raptors drew the Cavaliers in the second round, instead of the Conference Finals.

Over the course of eight years, DeMar DeRozan has established himself as the Raptors’ franchise player. Due to their regression and then their sweep at the hands of Cleveland, expectations have lowered. ESPN projected the East, as a whole, to be much weaker.

The Boston Celtics are projected to be number one, again, but this time only winning 49.4 games. Meanwhile, the Raptors checked in at number six, behind the Hornets, Bucks, and Wizards. Responding to this list, via Instagram, DeMar DeRozan commented “foh” and everybody’s been around long enough to know what that means.
