DeMar DeRozan talks Raptors blowing 15-point lead to Cavaliers, blames defense, and disjointed offense on Raptors’ loss

If this is how the Toronto Raptors are going to play, in the playoffs, they’re not getting out of the East. There is no way the Raptors won’t be the top seed, this year. However, the whole time LeBron has been back in Cleveland, they’ve only had the top seed once.

DeMar DeRozan, as the Raptors’ franchise player, has to be the man to step up and dethrone King James. Tonight, he disappeared, no way around that. At the same time, his play, alongside Kyle Lowry, is the reason the Raptors are number one.

Following the Raptors’ disappointingly stinging loss to the Cavaliers, the press caught up with DeMar DeRozan, post-game. The conversation was all about Toronto blowing that lead. Blaming the defense and their poor offensive selections, DeRozan pointed out how his team still managed 129 points, but the Cavs are still tough.
