Any real NBA fan knows who Derek Fisher is. Every time the Lakers were a team worth watching, he was the starting point guard. He had two stints with the Lakers, during the Shaq/Kobe era, and then returning for the Kobe era.
In between time, Derek Fisher played for the Golden State Warriors, for two seasons, and the Utah Jazz. A tragedy with his baby girl ended up sending Derek Fisher back to the Lakers. Thankfully, his daughter ended up being fine, and the Lakers won two more titles.
Derek Fisher, recently had some bad press, but he says he’s just happy to be alive. But, he stopped by Real 92.3 to speak to Big Boy before any of that went down. He discussed the NBA Finals, pitting the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, for the third straight time, and being willing to work for the Lakers.
