The summer of 2020 has definitely gone down in history. There is the whole Coronavirus pandemic, which seems never-ending, and then the meltdown of the president. Meanwhile, the civil unrest has led to an entire 2020 Civil Rights Movement.

In the middle of the pandemic, George Floyd was murdered by the police. This was the final straw for many and they took to the streets to protest his murder. Not only did people protest in Minneapolis, they went to many other cities, with Portland currently being ground zero.

Derrek Thomas lives in Texas and he ran across some men who were planning to ruin a Black Lives Matter protest. This was an open Facebook discussion about an Angleton, Texas protest. But, these men were planning on ruining the protest, even joking about running protesters over.
