Derrick Rose was viewed as the future of the NBA, early in his career. As the first overall pick of the 2008 NBA Draft, D-Rose immediately put the Chicago Bulls back on the map. In 2009, they surprised the defending champion Boston Celtics, pushing them to a Game 7. The following year, they took a five game loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. After that, D-Rose and the Bulls took over the top spot in the NBA East, before injuries derailed his career. Following a long journey, Rose was at a Drake concert.

Derrick Rose is one of the biggest “what if’s” in the recent history of the NBA. Rose had the Bulls constantly improving every year. In 2012, Derrick Rose’s Bulls were the only threat to the Miami Heat winning the championship. However, an injury in Game 1 of the first round against the Sixers essentially derailed his career. While Rose continued trying to lead the team until 2016, he was traded to the Knicks that year. Ever since, he’s been a journeyman and a role player.

Derrick Rose is playing well in his second stint with the New York Knicks. Currently, the offseason is in full swing, and training camp is set to soon begin. Before that takes place, Derrick Rose was out with his wife, at a Drake concert. While Alina was into it, she caught D-Rose playing chess on his phone. As a result, she recorded him and posted it on her IG Story. She joked about what happens when she tries to make her husband leave the house.
