Last weekend, news broke of Diddy being tapped to host Wrestlemania 29. Though he is not receiving as much attention as fellow mogul, Jay-Z, Diddy caught the right headline. For the second consecutive year, Diddy topped Forbes’ annual hip hop cash kings list. On the heels of the list being released, Diddy was named the host of Wrestlemania.
Over the past few years, New York City has found itself playing a background role to popular party cities, such as Las Vegas, Miami, and Los Angeles. Notorious party people can find Diddy in any of these cities. But, New York City is where Diddy is from and Wrestlemania made an overdue return to the city over the weekend.
At Jay-Z’s Brooklyn arena, Barclays Center, Wrestlemania 29 took place. The first event already went down and Diddy took the stage to perform in addition to hosting. Now, the event is headed across the Hudson to New Jersey for the next part of the event. But, in the meantime, Diddy performed in Brooklyn.
