On and off, for the past ten years, 50 Cent has gone from being on good terms with Diddy to having issues with him. Likely, it stems from Diddy not hiring 50 Cent to work for Bad Boy Records in the 1990s. But, they have clashed over Mase and over business.
50 Cent is in the midst of launching his vodka brand, Effen Vodka, which he is pushing heavily. Being a hip hop figure with vodka, puts 50 Cent in direct competition with Diddy. As everyone knows, Diddy has pushed his vodka, Ciroc, for close to ten years.
Throughout the past few months, 50 Cent has come at Diddy in various ways, all over their rival brands. This has had no bearings with Diddy, who has decided to focus on his music and business ventures. Perhaps enough is enough, however, as Diddy used a thinly veiled basketball reference to respond to the 50 Cent remarks.
