Diddy will reportedly not attend Grammys, after latest sexual assault lawsuits

Diddy to not attend Grammys after latest sexual assault lawsuits
In November, Diddy was hit with three sexual assault lawsuits. The first was from his ex-girlfriend an R&B star, Cassie. She claimed that she was assaulted and raped, while the two were together, during the 2000s and 2010s. However, Cassie went on to settle this lawsuit, a day later. Moreover, the other two sexual assault lawsuits dated back to 1990 and 1991.
Meanwhile, many business associates around Diddy have since been distancing themselves from him, since these lawsuits surfaced. He even went on to step down as chairman of REVOLT.
Now, Diddy will also reportedly not attend the Grammys, next month, according to The Hollywood Reporter. One of Diddy’s reps is said to have confirmed this move to the media outlet, as the Recording Academy had previously discussed Diddy’s status of attending. Now, one of the biggest award shows in the world will now not have the PR pressure of Diddy attending, on February 4.
Diddy’s lawsuits against him also come after he released a new album on his Love Records label, last fall. This was “The Love Album: Off The Grid.” 27 songs were released, including star-studded appearances from Summer Walker, Bryson Tiller, 21 Savage, H.E.R., Justin Bieber, and more. This project is even nominated for Best Progressive R&B album.
