Diddy’s lawyer claims that settlement in Cassie’s assault and rape lawsuit isn’t an admission of guilt

Diddy’s lawyer says settlement in Cassie lawsuit isn’t admitting guilt

Two days ago, Diddy was lit up on social media, after Cassie filed a $30 million lawsuit against him. This is as a result of claims that she was physically assaulted and raped by Diddy, when the two previously dated, in the 2000s and 2010s. Those incidents included Diddy pushing Cassie into a car and then kicking her face, as well as raping her in her home. Moreover, Diddy is also said to have blown up Kid Cudi’s car, due to being jealous of his brief relationship with Cassie.

However, on Friday, Cassie went on to settle this lawsuit with Diddy in court. Details of the exact settlement weren’t publicly revealed.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s attorney, Ben Brafman, is now speaking out, regarding the settlement. According to a statement to Page Six, Brafman says that the lawsuit is “in no way an admission of wrongdoing.”

“Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing,” Brafman explained. “Mr. Combs‘ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”

Furthermore. Diddy has yet to post anything on social media, since the initial lawsuit was announced. Sources close to him also denied all the accusations listed in the lawsuit, when it first came out.
