Two years ago, Diggy Simmons released his debut album and three years since he released his debut single. A lot has changed for Diggy Simmons over the past few years, mainly his status in the game. This time around, Diggy is taken much more seriously than he was when he first began making his moves.
Diggy Simmons’ success is something special, because he represents one of the few artists to be successful as a second generation raper. But, his success has made him one of these small number of artists to find success all on his own. Unlike some, Diggy Simmons has not relied on his father’s name to make it.
However, DJ Enuff did talk to Rev Run, before talking to Diggy Simmons about their Christmas show in Brooklyn at Barclays Center. Regardless of how the fans react, Diggy has lived the history and it can be a lot of pressure to do what he’s going to do. He explained all of this in front of Hot 97, while his performance is coming on December 19.
