Dillion Brooks infamously taunted LeBron James, during the playoffs. However, the Lakers easily dispatched Brooks’ Memphis Grizzlies. Currently, he’s playing for Team Canada in the FIBA World Cup. In the last game he got ejected, so he began practicing his boxing skills.
Dillion Brooks had become a core member of the Memphis Grizzlies’ roster. The Grizzlies have been one of the best regular season NBA teams, of the past few years. In 2022 and 2023, the Grizzlies won 56 and 51 games, respectively. Both of those records were good enough for the second seed in the West. Each time, the Grizzlies fell short of their goal. With the Warriors beating them in 2022, they missed out on the Conference Finals. The Lakers beating them in 2023 produced the same result.
Dillon Brooks will be playing for the Houston Rockets, later this year. Currently, he is representing his nation, Team Canada, in the FIBA World Cup. During their latest game, Brooks wound up getting ejected from the game. After that, Dillon Brooks ended up being in the hallway, just beside the court.
