Dirty Dave teams up with DJ B Lord and DJ Kub for “The Carolina Plug” mixtape

The hip hop scenes in North and South Carolina are still very undeveloped, as the only artist to gain recent success in the area is J. Cole. Signed to Roc Nation, J. Cole is from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Behind J. Cole, there are many more artists from different cities in both North and South Carolina who are emerging.

Never has there been much emphasis on the Charleston, South Carolina hip hop scene. Dirty Dave is preparing to change this, as he is putting together his new mixtape, The Carolina Plug. Few South Carolina hip hop artists have enjoyed mainstream success, so Dirty Dave has a chance at history.

On his new mixtape, Dirty Dave is working with DJ B Lord and DJ Kub, who will host the project. As Dirty Dave is leading up to the release of the mixtape with a series of webisodes, called “Road to Carolina Plug.” With the release of each new video comes more anticipation for Dirty Dave’s new mixtape.
