DJ 1Hunnit prepares his “#Midwest Take Ova”

Currently, the hip hop scenes of the Midwest are booming. Chicago is doing particularly well, with Kanye West back on top, along with Lupe Fiasco, Twista, and Common being successful recently. In addition to the veterans, the newcomers are also doing well. Chief Keef and Rockie Fresh have both been signed by major labels, while King Louie continues to gain more followers.

DJ 1Hunnit is also a Chicago native and he is also experiencing a major jump in his popularity. With the Midwest, specifically Chicago, experiencing a wave of new success, DJ 1Hunnit is hoping to break more stars. Earlier this week, DJ 1Hunnit revealed his own new mixtape release. As evidenced in the title, the Street Faculty DJ is preparing his own #Midwest Take Ova.

While he is putting the tracks together for the mixtape, which will feature tracks from rising artists, such as Chief Keef, Rockie Fresh, and King Louie, DJ 1Hunnit is also looking for other up-and-coming artists. Slots for the mixtape are currently available and the mixtape is expected to be another success for DJ 1Hunnit.
