Tekashi 6ix9ine’s debut album “Dummy Boy” has been met with positive reviews but he will not get to enjoy its success as he will be locked up until at least his trial date on September 4, 2019 for racketeering, weapons, assault, and murder conspiracy charges. His ex-manager Shotti aka “Tr3way” is incarcerated as well.

Information has been being spread about a possible informant in 6ix9ine’s case who helped take him down. Internet detectives have been putting blame on DJ Akademiks but he is claiming his innocence, according to TMZ.

“All these charges are a shock to me and do not involve me,” said Akademiks. I have never been questioned or much less cooperated in this. I am just a news reporter.”

Akademiks also took to Instagram to voice his frustration about the accusations. He blames blogs, rappers who fell off, and people who flat out don’t like him.

“All these garbage ass blogs…bum ass n*ggas, trash fell off rappers, u know urself for feeding this information to ur audience. It’s a reason why literally ALL of yall are failing at what you do. Focus on facts not your hatred for me.”
