Suddenly, DJ Akademiks is the news, and no longer the one reporting the news. This transition has been subtle, but something that’s been expected since “Everyday Struggle” began. Despite his presence on both YouTube and Instagram, many saw him for the first time, then.
DJ Akademiks made headlines, in a major way, this morning. He went on his girlfriend’s Instagram, and told people he could be going to prison, facing five to ten years. When his girlfriend posted, saying she would “hold him down” and the #freeakademiks hashtag, it looked bad.
All day long, people have believed DJ Akademiks was behind bars. A model on Instagram is claiming otherwise, however. She shared a video of Akademiks, which could be old, and also said he was hitting her up, today, trying to hook up with her, which leads many to believe Ak lied about going to jail, which is bizarre, if true.
