This week has been one of the craziest hip hop weeks on record. The past few years have seen DJ Akademiks rise to power and breathe new life into Complex. Through “Everyday Struggle,” Akademiks has become an infamous figure.
“Everyday Struggle” dominated headlines, as Joe Budden chose to leave the show. As he sets up shop at Revolt, Akademiks also had controversial news. It turns out, Akademiks was going to jail, which IG model, India Ingo, said was a lie, and shared a video of him sleeping.
DJ Akademiks has now blasted India Ingo, accusing her of extorting him, by framing him for beating her, blacking her own eyes, and texting him this info. He opted to speak on this, before the story got out, and get his side out, first. Then, he explained why he decided to speak on his gun charges, and going to jail.
