Hip hop and clothing is hardly a new innovation by any means. But, in recent years, most hip hop figures have simply launched their own titles instead of partnering with established brands. Flat Fitty has found recent success and the plan on finding even more.
Last week, Flat Fitty announced Wiz Khalifa would be working with them. Always the businessman, Wiz Khalifa teamed up with them for a new headwear line. With his headwear line still in development, Flat Fitty went to the mixtape scene for their new face of the brand.
DJ Drama has been on a roll over the past couple years. Flat Fitty first worked with him on the set of “So Many Girls” with Tyga and Roscoe Dash. A deal was struck and now DJ Drama will be representing Flat Fitty on his coast-to-coast tour. Dove Clark, the business development manager, and DJ Drama, issued statements.
Read the statements below:
Dove Clark for Flat Fitty: “We are enthusiastic about teaming with DJ Drama. In addition to having a fierce entrepreneurial spirit behind his growing empire, Drama is extremely down to earth and focused on quality. He fits in perfectly with the Flat Fitty movement.”
DJ Drama: “If there’s anything people equate DJ Drama to outside of my music, it’s always having a cap on my head. To me, Flat Fitty is a great, fresh, quality brand that I’m excited to be rocking and working with.”
