Even before DJ Khaled made it big, DJ Drama was one of the biggest figures in the rap game, uniting many of the biggest rappers in the game. DJ Drama is a Philadelphia native, but he would move to Atlanta and make his name there. After releasing albums every other year, DJ Drama decided to release his last two albums within a year of each other.
DJ Drama has been making his media rounds in the time since Third Power was released. Quality Street Music came out only a week ago. Days before the album was released, DJ Drama was at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta. Both he and Machine Gun Kelly were steps away from Rick Ross and Young Jeezy, who would fight.
ThisIs50.com would talk to DJ Drama and he spoke on how the Quality Street Music album title came after working with Young Jeezy. Soon, the conversation turned to Rick Ross’ feud with Young Jeezy, which came after a strong friendship. During the interview, DJ Drama suggested T.I. step in and end the high-profile feud. DJ Khaled once said the feud was over.
