DJ Envy explains Power 105.1/Hot 97 feud with Vlad TV [VIDEO]

Since Jay-Z and Nas were exchanging disses, Hot 97 and Power 105.1 have been exchanging disses. The two biggest radio stations in New York City have been going back and forth for well over a decade. However, things died down until one year ago, when Nicki Minaj released her “Beez in the Trap” single with 2 Chainz.

Funkmaster Flex claimed he hacked DJ Clue’s email and stole “Beez in the Trap,” which was supposedly originally intended to be his exclusive. It was not long before everyone involved with Power 105.1 and Hot 97 were feuding. Many of the people at Power 105.1 started their careers at Hot 97.

DJ Envy has been in headlines over his apparent infidelity with his wife. All personal controversy aside, Vlad TV recently talked to the man who is one third of “The Breakfast Club” with Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God. Talking to Vlad TV, DJ Envy explained his past with Hot 97 and he love for working at Power 105.1.
