DJ Envy speaks on real estate scam rumors on The Breakfast Club
DJ Envy is currently facing dangerous accusations, after a business venture went wrong. For some time, the co-host of “The Breakfast Club” has had a real estate side venture. The people who invested claim they never got any of their money back. As a result, a collective amount totaling millions of dollars have been lost. With Envy being the celebrity, he is taking the brunt of the blame. However, he went on his show, “The Breakfast Club,” this morning, to address the rumors.
DJ Envy found success in the music industry, first DJ-ing for various rappers. However, his big break came when he was hired by Hot 97. There, Envy rose the ranks and soon ended up having the chance to actually be on the air. But, when DJ Clue left Hot 97 for Power 105.1, DJ Envy soon followed. After that, they created “The Breakfast Club.” Thirteen years later, he and Charlamagne Tha God have one of the most popular radio shows of all-time.
DJ Envy went on “The Breakfast Club,” this morning, to address the rumors. When he first hinted at speaking on this, Charlamagne Tha God played dumb. After that, DJ Envy directly mentioned the rumors of his real estate venture being a scam. Also, Envy said he’s speaking against his lawyers’ advice, which Charlamagne also advised him not to do. But, DJ Envy said his intention wasn’t to scam anyone, and that he gave Cesar Pena money that he also never got back.
