DJ EZ Rock died of complications from diabetes

While most were still taking in the death of DJ Rashad, there was another DJ death on the horizon. DJ EZ Rock, of Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock, died and the news of this death was shocking to a lot of people. Timelines on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook were all flooded with tributes to DJ EZ Rock.

It’s sad to see the pioneers transcend, but it is a natural part of life. For those who remain, they are to mourn and continue living. A part of the mourning process is to learn what happened, for some, and to be there for those closely impacted by the loss.

In the case of DJ EZ Rock, his death was from complications of suffering from diabetes. DJ EZ Rock had been in the hospital for a month, according to sources close to him. These complications became too much to bear and it led to DJ EZ Rock passing away.
