Well over twenty years ago, in actuality closer to thirty, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will Smith, then-known as The Fresh Prince, rose to fame. These were the guys who put Philadelphia on the map. They used music as their door, but soon became known for much more than simply music.

For DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince, it all started with their sitcom, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” Looking back on the series, it was credited as a hip hop version of “The Cosby Show.” Since doing the series, Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff remain the best friends they portrayed for six years on television.
