Last night, DJ Kay Slay was reported as dying from his battle with COVID-19. DJ Kay Slay was only months removed from his last album release. Kay Slay is a legend who helped break many of the biggest songs in hip hop history. With that, DJ Kay Slay helped break many of the biggest artists.
DJ Kay Slay was a DJ, first and foremost. There was never a time when DJ Kay Slay wasn’t breaking records. But DJ Kay Slay began doing much more for the culture. Kay Slay embraced the models and even did a magazine for the ladies. This put DJ Kay Slay in the clubs for different reasons.
Over the past few years, DJ Kay Slay got back to putting his own music out. DJ Kay Slay dropped his last album in December. But Kay Slay had many of the hottest rising names on his projects.
