Last year, DJ Khaled had an amazing year, where everything finally lined up for him. One of his biggest career goals was to land a Jay Z feature. By 2009, Khaled did receive a shout out from the man who would go onto become his manager.
After a disappointing 2015, DJ Khaled began his MAJOR KEY ALERT messages on Snapchat. This prompted his Major Key album title, leading to his “For Free” single with Drake. However, “I Got The Keys” with Future and Jay Z would be the standout single.
DJ Khaled also scored a major hit with “Do You Mind,” featuring Chris Brown, August Alsina, Future, Rick Ross, Jeremih and Nicki Minaj. All of these songs led to DJ Khaled receiving plaques. The Major Key album, itself, is gold and DJ Khaled is now looking for platinum.
