DJ Khaled names himself the greatest record executive in the music business [PHOTO]

Eight years ago, DJ Khaled emerged from the Miami hip hop scene to national success. For the better part of a decade, DJ Khaled has worked with and helped build some of the biggest rappers in the game. He came up with Rick Ross and developed Ace Hood.

Back in 2008, DJ Khaled started We The Best Music Group and he has not looked back. Originally, the label was a subsidiary of Def Jam, where DJ Khaled held an executive position. Since then, DJ Khaled has moved We The Best Music Group over to Cash Money Records.

Last year, DJ Khaled signed Vado to the label, which already included Mavado and Nino Brown. This year, DJ Khaled has big plans for the entire We The Best roster and he’s not been afraid to let it be known. In one of his latest Instagram posts, DJ Khaled proclaimed he is the greatest record executive in the music business.
