Every year, DJ Khaled releases a single that features some of the biggest names in hip hop on it just in time for summer. Last year, Hip Hop Vibe took a look at some of DJ Khaled’s biggest hits in anticipation for the summer of 2013. But, DJ Khaled hit a bit of a slump last year, which is allowing him to come back stronger now.
DJ Khaled had a hit with “No New Friends” featuring Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne, but the Suffering From Success album didn’t sell like his other albums. But, anyone who follows DJ Khaled on social media know he is an optimist. He always looks at the positive aspects of life and his new album will be much bigger.
MTV News recently hosted DJ Khaled and he talked to Rob Markman about his new music. Working out and improving his life, DJ Khaled revealed he had something big to introduce his 2014 album. His friendship with Jay-Z has grown into getting him for the first single of his new LP.
