Instrumental in bringing mainstream attention back to DJs is DJ Khaled, who helped extend Miami’s reign in the rap game and redefine the scene. If not for the efforts of DJ Khaled, the careers of Rick Ross and Plies may look much different. Not to mention, there might not be any attention for Ace Hood without him.
Every year, DJ Khaled releases a new album, but Suffering From Success ended up not performing like his other records. This prompted DJ Khaled to make some changes, so he went all R&B for “Hold You Down.” The record features Chris Brown, Jeremih, Future, and August Alsina.
DJ Khaled recently returned to Power 105.1 to speak with “The Breakfast Club.” He came into talk about his headphones, but of course Charlamagne Tha God had to mention the sextape, which Khaled confirms. Khaled goes on to discuss with Angela Yee and DJ Envy the headphones, “Hold You Down,” and I Changed A Lot, the new album.
