Every summer, DJ Khaled has taken it upon himself to deliver a hit single. His latest single is “They Don’t Love You No More,” featuring Jay-Z, Meek Mill, French Montana, and Rick Ross. This is the lead single off I Changed A Lot, DJ Khaled’s eighth studio album.

Back when he first started, DJ Khaled had dreams of doing singles with the biggest names in the industry. But, his ties to Fat Joe made it seem unlikely that he would have a chance to work with Jay-Z. All of this changed when Jay-Z crashed Fat Joe’s album release party, made peace, and performed with Khaled.

Since then, DJ Khaled received a Jay-Z shout out and, five years later, got his long-anticipated verse. Last week, DJ Khaled stopped by Power 106 to speak to “The Lift Off” with J Cruz and Justin Credible. During this part of the interview, DJ Khaled speaks on Jay-Z not appearing in the video.
