These two have come a long way since their humble beginnings on the streets of Los Angeles. Coming up from virtually nothing, they are now on the rosters of Def Jam and Roc Nation, respectively.
For the most part, everyone seems to be enjoying what DJ Mustard and YG are bringing to the game. One thing is for sure, there seems to be no end to their movement anytime soon. During a recent interview, DJ Mustard was asked if he felt he was stealing Oakland’s sound and he said he was not.
Oakland is known for being one of the roughest cities in America, especially for visiting rappers. There is a wild rumor filling Twitter timelines of DJ Mustard getting slapped while he was there by Mistah F.A.B. Meanwhile, they are also saying YG got robbed during his time in the area.
