Responsible for the sound of 2013 hip hop is DJ Mustard, who has produced for such hitmakers as 2 Chainz and B.o.B. In addition to these guys, DJ Mustard has provided the production for YG, one of the hottest rappers coming out of Los Angeles. Though he is a behind the scenes guy, the world is beginning to pay attention to DJ Mustard.
Before each of his tracks play, there is the “Mustard on the beat…” intro. DJ Mustard has taken this and used it to his advantage, launching his “Mustard on the Beat” web series, for which the latest episode came out yesterday. Through these vehicles, the world is getting to know DJ Mustard better.
DJ Mustard has a bigger platform to introduce himself to the world with Jay-Z deciding to add him to his company. The Roc Nation record label is known for having J. Cole on the roster, but the management company is home to Rihanna, Wale, and many more. As of today, DJ Mustard can be added to the management roster.
