On many of hip hop’s classic albums released in the 1990s, DJ Premier provided production. These albums included the classic debuts from The Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z. Both albums still receive a lot of acclaim in the two decades since the projects initially were released.
The Notorious B.I.G. receives a lot of media attention because of Ready to Die, where he took shots at some of everyone. Among the people The Notorious B.I.G. took shots at on the album was DJ Premier, who provided some of the production. This has been discussed several times.
Recently, DJ Premier reflected on his time working with The Notorious B.I.G. During this conversation, DJ Premier talked about the women who would come while they were recording the album. DJ Premier spoke on this and laughed with the crowd about the past.
