DJ Quik finds his music on Beats and admits he was wrong

Legendary West Coast artist and former NWA member, DJ Quik, caused quite a stir this morning. He came up alongside Dr. Dre and watched firsthand as he went from being NWA’s in-house producer to the backbone of Death Row to the mogul he is presently. It is nothing short of amazing to see someone grow like this.

Even those who didn’t come up with Dr. Dre, or even like him for that matter, had to applaud him when the Apple deal went down. This was the first billion dollar deal to include a member of the hip hop community. The deal brought Beats by Dre into the Apple family.

This morning, DJ Quik was using the app and he didn’t see any of his music on it. It was something that angered him and DJ Quik made an angry Twitter rant before realizing his own mistake. DJ Quik later went back on Twitter to take back his earlier post, because his music WAS on the Beats app.
