True enough, “Everyday Struggle” won’t be the same without commentary from Joe Budden. Business was business and Joe walked out the door. It looks like 2018 will see a lot more of Joe Budden, just on another channel, Revolt.
Over at Complex, DJ Whoo Kid was brought in as the replacement. He is the one now facing off with DJ Akademiks, and they are having some interesting debates, as well. This time, the topic of conversation was payola.
DJ Whoo Kid told it how it was, with all of the new festivals that are popping up. He said that the entire industry is based upon payola, which caused DJ Akademiks to rise out of his seat. But, Akademiks agreed with him, as Whoo Kid told artists to holler at him if they want their music played, during festival season.
