In the mornings is when the Wednesday Throwback usually drops, but today has been full of a lot of other stuff. More controversy and an interview with a legend, people should be used to this, it’s Hip Hop Vibe. But, every Wednesday, there is a blast from the past and that’s going to continue.
Back in 1998, Trick Daddy dropped his second album, www.thug.com, which was at the peak of the initial internet era. Trick Daddy gained fame outside of his native home of Miami with his “Nann Nigga” single. With the world in the midst of a second internet era, Trick Daddy’s single still gets love.
Trina is featured on the single and the music video features a cameo appearance from NFL star, Edgerrin James. “Nann Nigga” became one of the bigger breakout songs from Trick Daddy. Last summer, Gunplay remade the song and it remains a hip hop classic, so it was only right to spotlight it.
