This week, DMX released his first album in six years, Undisputed. Through it all, DMX has proven he is still one of the best to have ever done it. On his latest album, DMX finds himself on uncharted territory. Instead of being the focal point of the rap game, DMX has found himself overlooked by the masses.
Hip hop has new leaders, starting with Rick Ross and rounded out by his MMG members, primarily Wale and Meek Mill, then Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, along with Kanye West and his cohorts, Big Sean and 2 Chainz. Still, there is plenty of room for everyone, as DMX found a new partner in rhyme in Machine Gun Kelly. The two created “I Don’t Dance.”
For the second time this year, DMX spoke to Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club.” A veteran in the rap game, DMX joins Nas, Jadakiss, and Busta Rhymes as veteran New York rappers who have used 2012 as their comeback year. DMX would discuss his new album with the three hosts of “The Breakfast Club.”
