Doc Rivers talks Chris Paul’s 20 point/20 assist game in #Clippers win over #Pelicans [VIDEO]

Each year, the Los Angeles Clippers have made concentrated efforts to get better since drafting Blake Griffin. Landing Griffin gave the franchise something it never had, a superstar. Then, 2011 brought them something else, a leader, in Chris Paul.

Quickly, the Clippers became one of the NBA’s toughest teams. Always expected to win at least 50 games a season, the team is also always expected to come up short in the playoffs. Doc Rivers was brought in to correct this, but the results remain the same.

This season is do or die for the Clippers and they are still catching flack for their loss to the Warriors. But, the Clippers turned up the intensity against the New Orleans Pelicans, where Chris Paul lit his team up for 20 points and 20 assists. During the post-game interview, Doc Rivers discussed this and the Clippers getting things back on track.
