Doechii to release “Alter Ego” single with JT on March 29

Over the last several years, Doechii has emerged as a rising star in the industry. The Top Dawg Entertainment artist initially garnered a buzz in the summer of 2022, for her “Crazy” single, as well as “Persuasive” remix with SZA. Furthermore, in 2023, Doechii broke out even further with her “What It Is (Block Boy)” single, which also included a version with Kodak Black. As a result, What It Is went on to peak at number 29 in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Furthermore, additional singles that Doehcii went on to put out in 2023 included “Booty Drop” and “Pacer.”

Meanwhile, Doechii’s first single of 2024 is also almost here. On Friday, she took to social media to announce that her “Alter Ego” single is arriving on March 29. Moreover, it will also include a feature from City Girls rapper, JT. In her Instagram caption, Doechii emphasized that this record is a new genre and that it doesn’t sound like anything that’s out. Moreover, this comes after Doechii and JT confirmed this collaboration to Interview Magazine, last month.

Therefore, many also anticipate Doechii’s debut studio album to arrive at some point in 2024. This also comes after rumors that many on the TDE roster would release albums, this year. ScHoolboy Q already released his “Blue Lips” album, earlier this month.
