Doja Cat and SZA win Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance

In 2021, Doja Cat arguably had her biggest year of her career. Her “Kiss Me More” single featuring SZA, was released last April, and immediately dominated. It went on to peak at number three, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Now, Kiss Me More has just won a Grammy, after being part of multiple nominations, for 2022. Kiss Me More just got the win, in the category of Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Other nominees here, included “I Get A Kick Out Of You” byTony Bennett and Lady Gaga, “Lonely” by Justin Bieber and Benny Blanco, “Higher Power” by Coldplay, and “Butter” by BTS. In February, Kiss Me More went on to become the longest-charting all-female collaboration, in Hot 100 history.

Kiss Me More went on to appear on Doja’s third studio album, “Planet Her,” that summer. That project debuted at number two, on the Billboard 200 chart. It went on to spend three consecutive weeks there. Planet Her contained 19 tracks in total, as featured artists included Young Thug, JID, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd. Eve, and Gunna. Other lead singles were “You Right,” featuring The Weeknd, “Woman,” “Get Into It (Yuh),” and “Need to Know.”
