Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More” Single, Featuring SZA, Becomes First All-Female Collaboration, in Billboard Hot 100 History, to Spend Half a Year, in its Top 10

This year, Doja Cat has been on fire, with plenty of hit records. Arguably the most notable single in 2021 though, has been “Kiss Me More,” featuring SZA. Fans waited for these stars to collaborate for a while, and they ended up exceeding expectations. Kiss Me More went on to peak at number three, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is certified platinum in the US.

Kiss Me More has also been in the top 10, of the Hot 100, for most of the year. According to Chart Data, the it has now become the first all-female collaboration in Hot 100 history, to spend half a year, in its top 10.

Currently, Kiss Me More stands at number seven, on the Hot 100. It went on to appear on Doja’s third studio album, “Planet Her,” which was released in June. That project debuted at number two, on the Billboard 200 chart, and spent three straight weeks, at that position. Planet Her is also currently at number seven, on that chart.
