In 2021, Doja Cat earned the biggest record of her career, in “Kiss Me More.” This single also included another huge fan-favorite artist, in SZA. Kiss Me More went on to debut at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is 2x platinum in the US.
Kiss Me More has also achieved another massive milestone, as 2022 is starting. According to Chart Data, it has now surpassed 1 billion Spotify streams. Kiss Me More was also part of Doja’s third studio album, “Planet Her.” That project debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, and spent three consecutive weeks, at that position. This album was released in June 2021, and became one of the biggest projects of the year.
SZA has since spoken on the 1 billion Spotify streams milestone, as she thanked Doja on Instagram, for having her on this song. Kiss Me More is also nominated for three Grammys, in 2022. These are for Best Song, Best Record, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
