Doja Cat’s mom files restraining order against Doja’s brother

Doja Cat is running into some very serious family turmoil, as this stems from alleged abuse from his brother. According to TMZ, her mother revealed this, as she’s filing a restraining order for Doja.

Moreover, this abuse has been verbal against Doja. Doja’s mother is Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, as she’s seeking a temporary restraining order. Furthermore, Doja’s brother has been identified as 30-year-old Raman Dalithando Dlamini.

Some of the abusive moments that Doja sustained by him was having some of her teeth knocked out, as well. In addition to this, Dlaminia is said to have caused cuts and bruises to Doja, and destroyed and stolen some of her property. Therefore, Doja is now feeling “unsafe and traumatized.” Doja’s mother has also claimed that Dlaminia physically abused herself and threatened her multiple times over the past year.

As a result, Doja’s own brother has been granted this permanent restraining order. However, a judge ruled that Doja has to file her own restraining order. Doja’s mother also had to file a restraining order in the past, which eventually expired.

This also comes after it was announced on Tuesday, that Doja is set to headline Coachella, in April, with Lana Del Rey and Tyler, The Creator. Rumors initially circulated about this performance, a week ago. 2023 saw Doja hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her “Paint The Town Red” single, and her “Scarlet” album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200.
