Doja Cat’s “Planet Her,” Becomes Fastest Album By a Female Rapper, in Spotify History, to Reach 3 Billion Streams

Doja Cat has been continuing her run, as one of the biggest artists in the world. 2021 was another dominant year for her, as she’s had some of the top records out, as well as one of the best albums.

Doja put out her third studio album, “Planet Her,” in June. This was led by the “Kiss Me More” single, featuring SZA. This record peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is 2x platinum in the US. Now, Planet Her continues to post massive streaming numbers.

According to Chart Data, Planet Her has now passed 3 billion Spotify streams. This now makes it the fastest album by a female rapper, to reach this mark. Planet Her featured plenty of other hits as well, such as “Get Into It (Yuh),” “Woman,” “Need To Know,” and “You Right,” ft. The Weeknd.

Planet Her is also nominated at the 2022 Grammys, as it is in the category of Best Pop Vocal Album. Doja has six Grammy nominations for next month, in total.
