Doja Cat’s “Planet Her” album sets another Billboard 200 record

In 2021, Doja Cat has one of the most dominant albums, with “Planet Her.” It was led by the “Kiss Me More” single ft. SZA, which debuted at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Planet Her debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart.

Planer Her continues to make even more charting history, to start 2022. According to Chart Data, it now becomes the first album by a female rapper in history, to spend 25 weeks in the top 10, on the Billboard 200. Currently, it stands at number 10, on the chart.

At the time of its release, Planet Her spent three straight weeks, at number two, on the Billboard 200. Other hit singles on this project include “You Right,” ft. The Weeknd, “Need To Know” and “Get Into It (Yuh),” and “Woman.” Other collaborations  included Eve, Gunna, Ariana Grande, and JID.

Doja is also nominated for eight GRAMMYs, this year. This is tied for the second most, with H.E.R. and Justin Bieber. The ceremony will take place in Las Vegas, on April 3.
