Doja Cat’s “Planet Her,” Becomes Album By a Female Rapper, With The Most Weeks in the Top 10, of Billboard 200 Chart

Doja Cat announced on Sunday that she tested positive for COVID-19, and will have to miss iHeartRadio’s upcoming Jingle Ball concerts. This comes after she announced that several of her production crew members tested positive. As of now though, Doja doesn’t appear to have any symptoms.
2021 has been major for Doja overall, though. She’s had both one of the hottest singles in the US, as well as one of the top albums. This was her third studio album, “Planet Her,” which was released in June. This debuted at number two, on the Billboard 200 chart, and was led by the smash hit single, “Kiss Me More,” ft. SZA.
Now, Planet Her continues to make more Billboard 200 history. According to Chart Data, it is now the first album by a female rapper, to spent 22 weeks in the top 10. This album featured plenty of other hits as well, such as “Woman,” “Get Into It (Yuh),” and “You Right,” ft. The Weeknd. Planet Her also went on to spend three consecutive weeks, at that number two spot.
