Doja Cat’s “Planet Her” breaks new Spotify record

Doja Cat continues to show that she’s one of the biggest superstars in the world. She dominated in 2021, with her “Kiss Me More” single ft. SZA, as well as her third studio album, “Planet Her,” which was released last summer.

Doja’s 2021 success has been rolling over into 2022, as she is setting even more huge milestones. According to Chart Data, Planet Her is now the most streamed album by a female rapper in Spotify history.

Kiss Me More was the lead single for Planet Her, as it was released in April, of 2021. It debuted at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and kept the momentum rolling, heading into the summer. Planet Her was released that June, and debuted at number two, on the Billboard 200 chart. It went on to spend three straight weeks at that position.

Planet Her had 19 tracks in total, including the deluxe edition. Other hits that fans were treated to on this project, included “Woman,” “Get Into It (Yuh),” and “You Right,” ft. The Weeknd. Doja also collaborated with Eve, Gunna, JID, and Ariana Grande.
