Doja Cat’s “Planet Her,” Passes 2 Billion Spotify Streams, and Becomes Fastest Album By a Female Rapper To Do This

Doja Cat has had another amazing year, as she’s scored plenty of hits, and released her third studio album, “Planet Her,” this summer. This was led by hit singles such as “Kiss Me More” ft. SZA, and “Need To Know.” It went on to debut at number two, on the Billboard 200 chart. Kiss Me More is also the longest-running all-female top 10 hit, in Billboard Hot 100 chart history.

Planet Her still has a lot of momentum, as it has now reached another huge milestone. According to Chart Data, it has now passed 2 billion Spotify streams. This now becomes the fastest album by a female rapper in history, to reach this milestone.

Planet Her contained 19 tracks, including the deluxe edition, as Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, JID, Eve, and Gunna, also made appearances on it. Other hit records that have emerged, following the album’s release, have been “Ain’t Sh*t,” and “You Right,” ft. The Weeknd. Planet Her is currently at number six, on the Billboard 200.

Doja also went on to win two VMAs this month, for Kiss Me More. These were the categories of Best Collaboration, and Best Art Direction. Over this past weekend, she also announced that she has her own cosmetics line out now, with BH Cosmetics.
